I. Project Background
As a global leader in smart automotive technology solutions, Joyson Electronics is primarily dedicated to the research, development, manufacturing, and services of intelligent cockpit systems, connected car technologies, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), new-energy management solutions, and automotive safety systems. To further meet automakers' Just-In-Time (JIT) production requirements, BangQi Technology has successfully supported Joyson Electronics in implementing a state-of-the-art, automated three-dimensional warehouse project at its base in Hefei, Anhui Province. This innovative solution has significantly boosted storage capacity and production efficiency, seamlessly integrating both hardware and software components—including electric control systems, stacker cranes, vision-guided robotic arms, stretch wrappers, and pallet conveyor lines.

II. Challenges Faced (Partial)

  • There’s a wide variety of SKUs—ranging from massive volumes of electronic components to safety system parts—each with distinct specifications. Additionally, strict requirements are in place for managing batch and serial numbers, making manual traceability particularly challenging.
  • Relying on manual labor leads to low picking efficiency, high error rates, and makes it difficult to meet the automotive industry's demanding production requirements for high takt times and zero defects.
  • Warehouse and production planning information are not interconnected, leading to low efficiency in material distribution coordination and ultimately impacting overall production efficiency.

III. Solutions (Partial)

  • Construct an automated three-dimensional warehouse to enable high-density storage and intelligent management of raw materials and finished products.
  • Deploying BangQi's self-developed LDS/WCS system to enable real-time visibility of inventory information, precise batch management, and seamless integration with SAP and MES systems.
  • By deploying flexible AMR robots, we can automate the delivery of materials from the automated warehouse directly to the production line, effectively bridging the logistics gap between warehousing and manufacturing.

IV. Project Benefits (Partial)

  • Space utilization significantly improved
  • Optimizing operations to reduce costs and boost efficiency
  • Successfully built a flexible logistics system
